Mostly tire kicking looking loos; some spent minutes gawking only to say - “It’s gorgeous and in perfect condition. I’d like to take it for a test drive.”It was such a hassle! All those people on social that make awful comments seemed to want to buy our car.Then we’d close the ad, take a breath, rework the ad, and take another run at it.Yet again, people would text and come over and say - this car is amazing. I want it. Let me test drive it.No one test drive the car and I couldn’t sell it because of that. One guy I took for a drive. Then he said he wanted an all-wheel drive 911, after I spent minutes poo-pooing any such 911 with more than rear-wheel drive.So that gorgeous car sat in the garage.And then I saw an article praising We Buy Exotics. And that’s when things happened. Smoothly. Quickly. And with exceptional communication.We hit a snafu that was on us - worn tires. So we talked through that and we all agreed on a reasonable work thru.Then boom! SOLD.Piece of cake. Very reasonable price (knowing they must sell the car at a profit to keep the lights on.)If I were transparent and actually shared the amount of time and effort I put into getting a 12% higher price (call it retail,) folks would laugh.In other words, your time, money, and, wear and tear on your vehicle amount to a lot of money.
